Opening Night
"Are you waiting for perfection?" Jerry said.
I'd been talking about a small collection of plays I've written, and other work I've been holding onto. Other work that need homes out in the world, beyond black binders and computer folders.
"Yea, probably," I said, "I tend to tinker." and hold on?
"Do you know the story about the director?
Before the curtain went up, he said to his cast...
We're not putting this show on because it's ready.
We're putting it on because it's opening night!"
