[Every now and then I meet another Betsy. I met Betsy Selfo in a small white house full of writers in Amherst, MA almost ten years ago. We had both lost our mothers that year. We shared Mom stories and cried a lot over the four days the group was together. Later, she emailed me this piece which I just found looking through a folder as the lights flicker on and off.
